Jenna Jameson turned to Keto in hopes that she could lose 60 pounds after having her daughter Batel Lu in April 2017. She hit and maintained her post-baby goal weight by eating lean and clean, allowing the occasional indulgence, but found that she felt so good and it worked so well for her that she'd like to keep going. Now, the former adult star and entrepreneur says she's shaved 80 pounds off her frame by sticking with Keto, which is designed to put your body in a state called ketosis, where it's burning fat for energy.
She's shared every milestone on social media — and now she's used her Instagram platform once again to share the updated version of the daily meal plan that's keeping her going on Keto.
She wakes up at 8 a.m. and has two Nescafé coffees with sugar-free creamer and sweetener, followed by an 11 a.m. breakfast of three scrambled eggs with basil cheese from Costco, which she shares with her daughter.
"I then put Batel down for her nap at 1:30 and I snack on cottage cheese and have a Fresca," she said. "I usually make myself a HUGE bowl of arugula salad with vinaigrette dressing and LOTS of Parmesan cheese. Then at about 5 I grill myself a big ribeye steak with asparagus broiled in avocado oil. Then my fast begins! So many people ask if I count macros or check if I’m in ketosis and the answer is no. I just eat sensibly and intuitively."
Ultimately, she said, "My advice is stop snacking. Results come from work. It’s hard, but baby it’s SO worth it!"
